PDO Thread Lift

PDO Before and After

Non-Surgical FaceLift with Threads

PureLife Medi-Spa has added the Thread Lift  to its menu of services. The new PDO absorbable Thread Lift procedure safely and instantly lifts up loose skin on the face and neck with minimal downtime.

For ten years, the PDO absorbable thread lift has been performed in Asia and Europe. In addition to being safe, it is one of the most popular “lift” treatments. PDO Threads differ from other thread lifting alternatives because they are made from absorbable PDO sutures and can be reversed and removed − unlike other threads.

Restore the V-Shape

PDO Threads are one the most effective ways to lift loose skin without surgery, and to regain that natural, beautiful V-Shape of the face. As we age, gravity takes a toll on our bodies − most notably in the face. You may notice it around the eyebrows, areas around the eyes, cheeks, jowls and neck. The result? A longer, more square-shaped and older-looking face as we lose our youthful V-Shaped face.

PDO Threads actually restore the V-Shape. The lower third of the face can be challenging when treating with wrinkle relaxers or dermal fillers. NovaThreads does not give the look of too much added volume that sometimes occurs with fillers.

How Does it Work?

PDO Threads are hypodermic needles preloaded with a synthetic PDO absorbable suture that stimulates collagen production and the skin structure. FDA approved, PDO (polydioxanone) sutures are commonly used to perform cardiac surgery. It’s the safest material that can be used in the body. Your skin fully absorbs the PDO Threads within four to six months, without leaving any scar tissue. Commonly called the “lunch time facelift” in Europe, the procedure takes a short time, with results lasting 12 to 15 months. No cuts or incisions, and the procedure is purely injection based much like other fillers.
